Every session explores a different educational theme—such as science, history, nature, or literature—and guides students through an exciting art project inspired by that topic. This hands-on approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and self-expression while reinforcing key educational concepts in a memorable and creative way. Perfect for homeschoolers of all ages!

Paint, sculpt, draw, create and more at La Salle art camp! Students will spend the week at La Salle exploring different artistic mediums to express their full creativity. There will be different projects throughout the week and on the last day of camp, friends and family will be invited to come to the end of the week art showcase and see all the creations and art the campers made. Open to all campers interested in spending time exploring their creativity. All experience welcome!

Haring used his graffiti inspired art to spread awareness for various social causes and believed art should be accessible to all. Similarly, this beautiful planet we call home is meant to be shared in harmony with all its inhabitants, and what better way to spread this holiday's message than with art? Students will reproduce Haring’s expressive yet simplistic style with color blocking, exercising control as they learn useful application techniques. With a strong focus on shape and design, their strokes will transform into a message of gratitude and shared wealth for our beloved earth.

If you or your artist would like to submit an art piece to be shown in this year's art show, please register here. Once we receive your registration, we will send you follow-up information on how to choose your piece, giving your artwork a name, framing or thinking through how the art should be displayed. Please note that we do require that 2D pieces on paper or canvas are framed, and we will explain framing in the follow-up information. There will be no Messy Mushy Preschool Art on days when Winchester Public Schools are closed or on half-days. While your child is welcome to register for Messy Mushy on multiple days of the week, please note our curriculum is designed to repeat the same set of projects in each class.
