I love being able to make a difference in the life of an elderly person. I cared for my Mother with Alzheimer for seven years. It was an honor to care for her during the most difficult years of her life. I also cared for my Aunt who had macular degenerative disease and dementia. Both my Mother and my Aunt loved music. I have a cheerful disposition and I would sing and dance with them daily. The smiles on they're faces were priceless! She was the best caregiver I could have asked for for my mother in law who suffers from dementia. She knew what skills to use to assist mom and gave her 200% of her attention at all times!!!
